The MPT knife was designed as a combat and utility knife and has a thinner profile and handle for use with tactical gloves. If you are the point man on a SWAT entry team or a Special Forces operator who spends a lot of time in remote locations, this is the knife for you. The blade has a distinctive false edge that can be readily sharpened to allow two cutting edges on both top and bottom. The choil and large guard combination allows the user to safely place a forefinger in front of the lower guard for a better grip and also ensures the user’s hand will consistently stay on the hilt and not slip forward onto the blade when using the knife for fine or delicate cutting. All of these features make the MPT a perfect combat knife for hard use and low maintenance. The blade profile provides for a near perfect offensive weapon and the optional serrated section makes cutting rope or parachute cord an easy task with minimal effort. A low profile Hytrel sheath is added in tan, black, or OD green and the blade can be black coated for stealth requirements.
